PIVOTAL LNG TO SUPPLY LNG TO UPS IN FLORIDA

Pivotal LNG, a subsidiary of AGL Resources, announced that it has entered into its second agreement with UPS to provide LNG to their fleet operations in Jacksonville, Florida. Pivotal LNG will truck LNG from its merchant facility in Trussville, Alabama, to a fueling facility being constructed by UPS. Pivotal’s first LNG supply agreement with UPS came in April 2013. Under that agreement, Pivotal is providing LNG to UPS facilities in Nashville and Knoxville, Tennessee. Last fall, UPS announced it will invest $50 million in LNG fueling infrastructure to support the operation of approximately 1,000 LNG tractors. AGL Resources owns and operates seven natural gas distribution utilities and several LNG peak-shaving facilities throughout its footprint, making it one of the largest operators of liquefaction facilities in the U.S.
