C.R. ENGLAND/SHELL ENTER MULTI-YEAR LNG FUEL AGREEMENT

On Wednesday, C.R. England, the world’s largest temperature-controlled trucking company, announced a multi-year LNG fuel agreement with Shell. C.R. England will replace 10 existing diesel trucks with LNG powered Mack trucks with the Cummins Westport ISX12 G engine. The trucks will service southern California, where the trucking company feels the natural gas on-highway transportation market is most mature. “In addition to reducing emissions, we believe there is the potential to reduce fuel costs and operate trucks that run quieter than those using diesel,” said Zach England, COO of C.R. England. “We are incredibly excited to incorporate LNG tractors into our fleet and see great potential for future expansion.”
