NGVAMERICA PARTICIPATES AT THE APPALACHIAN BASIN NGV EXPO IN VIRGINIA

Earlier this week, Virginia Clean Cities and Virginia Oil & Gas Association (VOGA) hosted the 2014 Appalachian Basin NGV Expo & Conference at the Greater Richmond Convention Center. Stephe Yborra moderated a vehicle OEM panel during lunch Tuesday and participated on a panel about station development Wednesday morning. The OEM panel was comprised Barbara Brentano of Gladstein Neandross & Associates (representing American Honda), Mark Karney of GM, Frank Bio of Volvo and Bill Boyce of Cummins Westport. Stephe opened with brief remarks about vehicle inventories and recent years’ sales/production counts and then introduced the panelists who gave short summaries about their product lines. Wednesday’s panel, moderated by Virginia Natural Gas’ Tom Rumley, also included Steve Davis of Universal Air Products and Hank Brown of TFC Recycling. This was the 2nd annual Appalachian Basin Expo & Conference. The first was hosted by West Virginia Oil and Natural Gas (WVONGA) in Charleston, West Virginia last May. WVONGA plans to host the 3rd annual event in May 2015.
