CHART COMPLETES FIRST OF 20 LNG STATIONS FOR SHELL
On Monday, Chart Industries announced the opening of the first of 20 public LNG fueling stations that it has been selected by Shell to design, manufacture and commission. The station is located in Ontario, California, and features two public LNG fueling lanes that will support heavy duty vehicles. The remaining contracted LNG fueling stations will be built across North America in a phased approached, based on customer demand and existing truck stop sites with the intention of adding dispensers alongside existing diesel fueling lanes. The LNG station will be fully automatic, have a low working pressure and be sized to fill 100 to 150 trucks per day.
