Trillium Opens CNG Station in North Carolina

Trillium CNG has completed construction of a new public access Class-8 accessible CNG fueling station on the southwest side of Charlotte, North Carolina. The station is part of an agreement with Frito-Lay North America, who selected Trillium CNG to design, build, operate and maintain CNG stations to serve the company’s fleet of natural gas tractor- trailers. The new CNG station is located about one mile from I-485 and I-77, two major interstates that serve the greater Charlotte Metropolitan area. The CNG station will operate 24 hours a day, seven days a week and uses Trillium CNG’s proprietary fast-fill hydraulic intensifier compressor. There are two fueling lanes today with the ability to add an additional lane as demand increases. This is the fifth of eight CNG stations Trillium CNG has been awarded to build for Frito-Lay North America. For more information, visit www.trilliumcng.com.
