Optimum Composite Technologies to Supply CNG Tanks to AGA Systems

Optimum Composite Technologies announced that it is now the exclusive tank provider for AGA Systems’ bi-fuel system for the Chevrolet Equinox and GMC Terrain compact SUVs. Optimum will supply both a 6.8 GGE and an 8.3 GGE Type 3 CNG tank that fit in the cargo area of these vehicles. AGA Systems will offer the tanks in a choice of the Cargo Configuration (55 cu ft. cargo capacity) or the Passenger Configuration (seats 5). Each tank is constructed using engineered aluminum that is heat-treated specifically for use with CNG. Quality checkpoints throughout the construction process and a final stress test ensure the structural integrity of each tank.
