Midwest Food Distributor Switching to Natural Gas

On Thursday, Delco Foods, a family-owned Italian and specialty foods distributor operating throughout the Midwest, announced its plan to open a CNG station in Indianapolis, Indiana. Delco partnered with U.S. Oil’s GAIN Clean Fuel unit to build the facility near their distribution center in Indianapolis. Delco will break ground on the fast-fill refueling station on Oct. 1st and plans to start converting their delivery fleet to run on CNG in early fall. Delco has partnered with Penske to provide full-service truck leases and to convert their existing maintenance shop to accommodate heavy duty CNG vehicles. The station is expected to be completed in Dec. 2014 and will be open for use by other carriers and the general public.
