Corridor Clean Fuels Opens Alabama’s Largest CNG Station

On Monday, Corridor Clean Fuels (CCF) held a ribbon cutting ceremony to celebrate the opening of a CNG station in Dothan, Alabama—the largest CNG station in the state. Local dignitaries and more than one hundred people attended the event. The station can fuel both light and heavy duty vehicles but was designed especially for heavy duty vehicles, dispensing over 10 GGEs per minute. The station features two 250-horsepower compressor packages and two internal card reading CNG dispensers, each with light duty and heavy duty nozzles. Cynergy brand CNG went on sale at $1.98 per GGE. A CNG Workshop was held following the grand opening to help promote education and adoption of using CNG as an alternative fuel to gasoline and diesel. The workshop featured presentations on a number of topics including an overview of CNG, engine availability for the transportation industry and financially compelling examples of potential savings for fleets.
