Utah School District Celebrates Addition of 36 New CNG School Buses

The Jordan School District in Utah celebrated the addition of 36 brand new CNG-powered school buses to their fleet. The purchase of the new CNG buses was possible thanks to $1.7 million in state and federal grant money.

The school district, which services more than 53,000 children, now boasts a fleet of 105 CNG buses. These buses are estimated to save the district about $630,000 a year in fuel costs. The move to CNG has also helped the school district improve the air quality for students and the community at large.
