Will Take Place on March 30th through April 1st

Washington, DC – NGVAmerica today announced the agenda for their Spring Fly-In in Washington, DC, from March 30-April 1, 2020.  

Monday, March 30th
Federal Legislative Forum

12:35pm Alternative Fuel Corridors Briefing

Federal Highway Administration staff invited to brief participants on the Alternative Fuels Corridors program and related opportunities. 

1:00pm RNG Policy Briefing 

Update on RNG-related policy and the Renewable Fuel Standard. 

1:15pm Communicating with Congress

NGVA staff and Capitol Hill veterans will walk participants through best practices for communicating with Members of Congress and advocating for NGVs as part of your GR and media strategy.   

2:00pm Networking Break

2:15pm NGV Federal Advocacy Overview

Allison Cunningham, Director, Federal Government Advocacy, NGVAmerica, along with invited guest speakers, will provide an overview of the 2020 federal legislative and political landscape, providing background on key legislative developments and preparing participants for Tuesday’s Hill Day. 

3:15pm 2020 Tax Briefing 

An invited panel of experts will update on tax policy, the upcoming tax extender effort, and opportunities for 2020 tax activity.

4:30pm Guest Speaker 

Members of Congress invited to address attendees. 

5:00pm Capitol Hill Day Logistics Briefing

Allison Cunningham will provide a logistics briefing and best practices for Tuesday’s Lobby Day. 

5:15pm Targeted Adjournment 

Attendees encouraged to enjoy the Wharf and grab drinks or dinner on their own.
